VOLUNTEERING MEMBERSHIP TO PASSION 2030

Level 39, One Canada Square, Canary Wharf
E14 5AB, London / United Kingdom
**********************************************
I, as the signatory of this document, understand that an independent, apolitical, non-profit, non-governmental organisation called “Passion 2030 for Vision 2030” (“Passion 2030” in short) has been setup and formally registered in the UK as "Passion 2030 CIC".
I understand Passion 2030’s purpose of being is “to promote and facilitate cultural better understandings, cooperation, partnerships, value sharing and other means of mutual interests, in social, cultural, industrial, academic, scientific and technological dimensions, for British and Saudi citizens, professionals and enterprises around Saudi Vision 2030”.
I understand Passion 2030’s vision is “to have served one of the most exemplary proactive, independent, non-political, civilian ventures with outstanding contributions to the mutual interests of British and Saudi societies, professionals and enterprises in conjunction with the massive transformative achievements of Saudi Vision 2030.”.
I hereby register my genuine intent and interest to become a volunteering member of the organisation, as it is authorised by British authorities.
I am aware that Passion 2030 has a principle framework of volunteer engagement composed of 18 (eighteen) items of Terms and Conditions to follow. I have read and understood all these terms and conditions. I will be happy to provide my volunteering support to “Passion 2030” accordingly to all these Terms and Conditions.
SINCERITY and GENUINE INTENTION and PLAN TO VOLUNTEER
1 - My registration of interest towards onboarding in Passion 2030 is with a genuine sincere intention and plan to support its great cause with my quality time and focused effort as much as my other priorities allow. I am genuinely motivated and will feel happy and proud to serve my part in a bigger team individually and collectively making a big positive difference for citizens and institutions of both the UK and KSA.
2 - When committing to any level of support in any role in Passion 2030, I will have a strong sense of moral and professional responsibility to do my reasonable best to serve my commitments. I understand that, promising a volunteer time and effort but actually not serving them may cause frustration to my team relying on me, and frustration to people who would benefit from the relevant work.
3- I do appreciate that Passion 2030 is in its early stage of formation, and the initial split of roles in its organisation may not necessarily reflect the best assignment of ideal skills, experiences, passion and available time and effort to serve some roles. As more members join, or as some current members improve their skills and experiences, or as some members become more passionate and available to serve some roles better, ideal assignments of people to roles may change. If this happens around any of my roles in the organisation at any point in time, I will keep sincere and passionate enough to happily handover my role for a better-fit for it. I understand there can be regular periodic revisions of organisation structure to make sure that we are always keeping the right person with the right job and right job with the right person. I understand such periodic revisions can be as often as every 3 months, during the first year. And, meanwhile, one can offer to hand over their role completely out of their own proactivity without waiting for a periodic revision. I do understand and appreciate and will adopt this selfless spirit of leadership attitude and sincere commitment to the cause, which makes our greatest asset: “sincere, qualified passion”, as is also promised by even the founder of Passion 2030 from the very beginning.
VALUE TO ME FROM SUPPORTING PASSION 2030
4 - When actually serving any level of support in any role in Passion 2030, I understand that being part of such a big cause and high-profile volunteer work can have great value and benefits towards my personal interests in terms of my wellbeing and success in my social, family, work, school and business lives. Such value and benefits may or may not be my main source of motivation for Passion 2030, but I do acknowledge the full potential of such value to myself in the short, medium and long terms.
LIMITATIONS OF MY COMMITMENT
5 - By this registration of interest towards being a volunteering member, I am NOT binding myself legally to any extent to donate any time, effort or anything in cash or in kind to the organisation or to any of its partners, leaders, members, beneficiaries or other stakeholders. Any of my commitments will be in good intent without any legally binding liability on myself, on my family, or on my employers if any.
6 - When committing any level of support in any role in Passion 2030, I will make sure my commitments are reasonable and proportionate without causing any major issue in my other commitments and responsibilities like those in my workplace, my school, family or any other non-profit cause I am committing to support. I do understand true faith in and service for great causes can sometimes take a lot of altruistic efforts, but I understand I should serve all my duties and responsibilities in a fair and balanced way in all areas of my life.
DATA PRIVACY AND CONFIDENTIALITY
7 - While serving any works for Passion 2030, I understand that data privacy and confidentiality of all individuals and institutions of both the UK and the KSA will be an extremely important aspect of everyone’s professional conduct. I understand I am professionally, ethically and also legally responsible to not share, copy, distribute or disclose private or proprietary information of Passion 2030, its volunteers, or its stakeholders, or any other citizen or institutions involved, without express written permission within Passion 2030 Policies and within laws of the local jurisdiction/s that apply.
STRICT COMMITMENT TO PRINCIPLES AND LAW ABIDANCE
8 - I happily decided to join Passion 2030, once it is fully authorised, because it was represented to me as a strictly law-abiding and strictly-apolitical, non-profit, non-governmental organisation, without backing, control or drive by any unknown bodies, with an expressly described purpose and a list of strong principles to promote mutual interests, and good and only good of the citizens and enterprises of both the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (UK) and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
9 - While serving volunteer projects and operations of Passion 2030, I will keep strictly within all the Passion 2030 corporate principles and within local laws and regulations in the UK (and in the KSA at times I am in KSA if any).
SANCTIONS
10 - When serving any level of support in any role in Passion 2030, in case I fail to meet any of my volunteer commitments, I understand Passion 2030 leaders or other volunteers or stakeholders will NOT sanction me in any offensive or disturbing way including emotional or other forms of pressure.
11 - My sincere efforts may not succeed and I can still get great references from Passion 2030 leaders, but lack of any significant effort may just deprive me of such references.
12 - I understand that my level of actual support to Passion 2030 projects/services will be measured and my being an active or passive member of Passion 2030 will be reflected to my membership profile. Being classified as a passive member isn’t a sanction.
13 - I understand and accept that in case I do not actually serve an appointed role in Passion 2030, Passion 2030 may kindly ask and require me to remove from my Linkedin profile any experience records that don’t match the reality.
14 - When serving any role in Passion 2030, I understand that in case of a breach of law by myself, I can be sanctioned by UK and/or KSA courts. Being part of a great volunteer cause doesn’t give me an excuse to breach law and doesn’t make me immune to legal sanctions.
CHANGES IN TERMS AND CONDITIONS
15 - While accepting all the terms and conditions in the document, I understand the document is yet in its initial version, and there may be further enhancements later on in favour of a more reliable and mutually-safer framework of engagement. My signing these terms as they are now doesn’t imply or promise my signature for any new or updated terms to be released later on.
TERMINATION OF ENGAGEMENT
16 - By entering in a volunteer engagement with Passion 2030, I understand I am free to end my engagement with a simple notification email to its HR department or to my line-leader. I understand this is not subject to any legally-enforced notice period obligation, but as a matter of professionalism, I will do my reasonable best effort to serve such notice at least 2 weeks before I end my engagement.
17 - I understand Passion 2030 may end my engagement with them at any level fully or in part, removing me from volunteer registers or respective organisational bodies in the case of my no active contributions for 3 months or longer.
18 - I understand Passion 2030 may remove my titles in the organisation in the case of my absence, failure or major inefficiencies to serve my committed responsibilities for 3 months or longer.
